Create a project, and a blank scene opens in the editor.
Everything you make in SSHOW is a project. Here you create a blank project in Studio and open it in the editor.
You need an SSHOW account
If you don’t have one, create it first on the sign-up page.
Create a blank project
-
Open Studio
Sign in to s.show, then click the Studio button at the top right. The Studio home opens. You can also type s.show/studio in the address bar. If you see a “What will you make?” box at the top of the home, your account can use Create with AI. Here you make a blank project.

Go back to Studio
Click the Studio button at the left end of the top bar. The list for the space that holds the project opens, and the project you just made appears as a card. In the desktop app, the editor window stays open and the Studio window comes to the front. In the tablet app, you return to the Studio screen you were last on.

What you can do now
- Create a blank project in Studio and give it a name.
- Know that your project saves automatically while you work.
- Go back to Studio and reopen a project.
Other ways to start
Start from a template. In the What will you make? window, choose a template from the list at the bottom, then click Use this template. A copy of the template opens as a new project.
Start from a .sshow file. Click Upload .sshow file and choose a file. You can also drag the file and drop it anywhere in Studio. When you upload a single file, that project opens right away.
Create it in another space. Click the space name next to Create in at the top of the window, then choose another space. A space holds projects within a team. When you sign up, you get a personal team and one space along with it.
